Cliffs above Funningur, Funningur is a village on the Faroe Islands. It is located on the northwest coast of Eysturoy.
To the west of the village rises the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, Slættaratindur (880m), however, the summit itself is not visible from the village as well as in this photo if you look to your right its hiding in the clouds.
On the other side of the fjord you can see the small town of Elduvík peak out.
