Frostastaðaháls is a curve in the road on the way to Landmannalaugar, This is an easy drive during the summer but during the winter time this stretch of road can become tricky, another way is to drive across the lava field when its covered in snow and is much more preferred. If you have a closer look you can see the cars starting the drive across the lava field towards Landmannalaugar.
