Veiðileysufjörður in Strandir is a small fjord between Kaldbaksvík and Reykjafjörður, usually called Veiðileysa. A farm at the end of the fjord has the same name.

Folklore has it the reason it is called the fjord without fish (Veiðileysufjörður) an old lady called Kráka lost her 2 sons fishing in the fjord and decided to cast a spell on it, leaving the fjord without fish ever after.
